This welding program is designed to prepare students with in-depth training 和 skills for entry-level employment in various careers as a welder in light or heavy fabrication, 建设, 和 manufacturing. Training focuses on the theory 和 application to provide essential skills in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) 和 Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) in all positions, which includes flat, 水平, 垂直, 和 overhead techniques with T-joint 和 V-groove plates. It also covers Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) in all positions with a T-joint plate. Carbon Arc Gouging, Oxy-Acetylene/Beveling, Plasma Arc Cutting/Beveling, 和 Shearing will also be taught. The student will receive an OSHA 10 Safety Certification 和 a Certificate of Completion, 和 if they pass the final AWS D1.1 test, a 3F (垂直) AWS Certification.
